Ben Wheatley’s critically acclaimed Free Fire opens in UK cinemas on March 31st. The film stars Brie Larson, Armie Hammer, Cillian Murphy and Sharlt Copely, and has been hailed as ‘seriously cool, stuffed with great dialogue and riddled with bullets’ (Empire) The soundtrack by Ben and Geoff Barrow will also be available to download digitally from this date, with vinyl and CD release to follow soon.

Ben and Geoff Barrow have completed their score for Ben Wheatley’s Free Fire, staring Cillian Murphy, Armie Hammer, Sharto Copley and Oscar winner Brie Larson. The film is executively produced by Martin Scorsese and is due for release in the Autumn.

Ex machina has been nominated for best screenplay and best visual effects at this years Academy Awards. Congratulations to Alex Garland and Andrew Whitehurst especially. At the Baftas, Ex Machina achieves 5 nominations including ‘Outstanding British Film’. Many thanks to Vanity Fair who picked the Ex Machina score as their ‘dream nomination’!

Ben and Geoff Barrow have been officially nominated in 2 categories at this years World Soundtrack Awards : The ‘Public Choice Award’ and ‘Discovery Of The Year Award’. Winners will be announced at the award ceremony in Ghent on October 24th.
